Fabricophiles, it’s time to get excited as we’re finally opening up a selection from the Phillips Shirts’ fabric archives- vintage fabric- for sale in a one-off two-day event.
The fabrics date from the 1960s to current day and come from mills all over the world, many of them now closed.
Here are the details:
TRADE: Members of the fashion industry can make an appointment to view and buy fabric between now and Thursday 9 October. Contact Amit on: showroom@phillipsshirts.com.au to arrange a time.
Minimum purchase: Fabric will only be sold by the roll.
PUBLIC: The factory will be open from 10am – 7pm Friday 10 October and 11am – 3pm Saturday 11 October.
Minimum purchase: Two meters and over.

PAYMENT: EFTPOS/Cash
While we have an estimated 4000 bolts of vintage fabric in our factory, they won’t all be released for sale as we are still a working factory and intend to use them to make the shirts that has kept us in business for 62 years.
The prices are:
Poly cotton – $10 per metre
Cotton – $10 per metre
Linen – $15 per metre
Vintage prints (patterns)- $15 per metre
Silk (pattern and print) – $25 per metre
