Overlocker Classes – ” Tame the Beast “

Kim with her tension reference pages.

Kim with her  reference pages.

This is Kim from one of my Overlocker workshops.

She says after the workshop –

” My overlocker and I once had a love-hate relationship. 20% of the time I could get it to work but there were more tears than happiness – with a few swear words thrown in. Usually when I threaded the machine the threads would snap when I started to sew. After this workshop with Ann I don’t fear my overlocker anymore”.

Overlocker Classes (one day workshops) – enable you to “Tame Your Overlocker”.

In this overlocker class you will see how it all “works”:

  1. break down the barriers of tension and altering those “scary” tension dials.
  2. have you threading the machine in no time.
  3. Altering stitch width and length and understand why ???
  4. differential feed – why and how to use.
  5. machine maintenance, and attachments.
  6. explore the machines decorative skills with rolled hems.
  7. basic construction skills covered if time allows.

BYO O’Locker in good working order and upon enrollment in the overlocker classes I will email you details of what you have to gather for the day.

“Ann presents these classes in a very logical way. Her step-by-step approach made perfect sense”. (Lynne T )
