In conjunction with the Italian Warehouse Sale April 18th our next competition is –
What is your must have Sewing Tool/Aide to help you sew better ??
I am sure that you have a trusty Sewing Tool or Aide that enables you to better sew your garment .
So I would like to invite you to enter our competition by submitting details of your sewing tool/aide, what is so good about your tool and accompanying photos ( we have to see what it is !!!! ) .
Please contact me here with your entry which I will then post to my blog and Facebook page along with author details etc.
( if you have accompanying photos please contact me and I will send send you an email address for attachment)
This competition will be initially judged by one of the principles of the Italian Warehouse – Adriana L.
Her task is to pick the best 3 of all the entries and then I am going to open it back up to you. I will create a poll where you can vote for your favourite sewing aide and then the winner will be announced.
The competition details are:
Opens : Monday 30th March
Runs For : 2 weeks (until 14th April ) and is open to everyone to submit their ideas.
Then Adriana will have 1 day to choose the final 3, and then I will open up the judging to you from Wednesday 15th until 12 pm Friday 17th April – 1 1/2 days for you to cast your vote..
And the winner will be announced on 1pm Friday 17th April.
And First Prize is – a $200 worth of fabric from the Italian Warehouse Factory Sale which is opening again for 1 day only on Saturday 18th April.
And for the Runner Up the prize is – A pattern pick from the range at Catwalk Patterns here.
Given that the fabric in the warehouse is only $3.50 – $8.00 this prize equates to a great deal of possible STASH acquisition.
Plus as an extra part of this prize you will be allowed personal access to the factory an hour prior to the doors opening for your own PRIVATE shopping experience.
So to be eligible to win this prize you must be able to attend the warehouse in Oakleigh, Victoria on the morning of the sale to receive your fabric of your choice prize…
(unfortunately if you cannot attend or live to far away you will forfeit your prize – and there will be no negotiations- at ALL !!!! )
Proudly sponsored by Adriana from Fabric Allsorts and Jim from Christopher George
and Jen S from Catwalk Patterns.
So everyone is invited to join in the competition –
We would all love to read about your favourite “Sewing Aide”
Cheerio and Good luck to you all.
